Following on from Monday's lesson, please complete these language and gender tasks. This will link well as a follow up task to creating your knowledge organisers (we will do the same for regional variations and accent & dialect tomorrow):
Task 1
If you haven't already, please complete your knowledge organiser ensuring that you have outlined all the theories and case studies.
Next, challenge them: what is
the criticism of each theory / what debate does it set up? A few sentences is fine.
Task 2
Read the four wider reading articles at the back of the
booklet and write a bullet point summary of each. Do this with any other wider reading articles you have found too.
Task 3
For each text, write a paragraph on how the theories are reflected
in the argument.
