Since our lesson was disrupted on Monday we've lost some planning time for your mini-lessons, and as some people were absent on Thursday we may need to re-shuffle the groups a bit. I will sort out the groups and when you are all paired up, please continue with your planning for the mini-lessons.
Remember that your lesson needs to include the following:
- Clear aims and objectives - what do you want the class to achieve and learn?
- A starter activity to engage the class and get them working.
- Present your assigned theory in terms that the group will understand.
- A work sheet or an activity to assess the class' learning.
- A plenary to summarise your lesson and to decide whether or not your aims and objectives have been achieved.
We will be presenting these tomorrow, so make sure you are ready!
